My practice is guided by subtle gestures and inferences, the things we can't quite touch, or struggle to put into words and the creative tensions between the imagined and the experienced. Each piece or project is a way of sitting with a question and exploring its edges. Currently I'm developing work around darkness and light, slow practice, receptivity, estrangement and planetary being.
I am partway through a PhD at the University of Glasgow in the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences, focused on the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park in South West Scotland. You can read more about this here.
I'm also interested in socially-engaged and participatory art practices and have been involved in creative facilitation, collaborative curatorial and learning projects, and arts activism.
